then were put immediatly in the same scenario- would they behave in the same likeness or act in the expected manner? If you havnt seen the new batman movie dont answer this (social experiment presented in movie question?)?
First off I'd like to state I think that the way it played out was unrealistic at best, and flat out wrong at worst. To think that there wasn't any people on either boat who wouldn't crack under the pressure and try to jump the guys holding the triggers was laughable, and once one ran at the carrier it would have created a mob mentality. Anyway thats neither here nor there, on to your question.
2 groups of people put into that situation right after seeing it......(I'm a realist) I think that any small group of people will contain aleast 1 @$$hole and a group that large will have quite a few, not only @-holes but pleny selfish enough not to care about others lives over theirs. There would be atleast one of the guards with guns who would want to take matters into their own hands. I also think that the people in charge wouldn't walk into the "public" with the trigger. They would keep them locked up in the cabin of the boat. So to sum it up..... BOOM to one of the ships.
