What do you think of the New Batman Movie?

Ok well i would like to know what you guys think is an appropriate age to see the new batman movie. And please explain why.



I know a lot of people have said it is dark and stuff but i really want to know if it is too dark.



i am 14 and my brother is 12, do you think 12 is too young?

It depends on the kid really. But it is PG-13 for a reason bordering on an R (if they showed just maybe two clips different it would have been). I just think most kids will not get a lot of what is going on. The film is mainly for adults not kids.....just like comicbooks are now.



If the kid is smart and then yea...12 is good. If they get scared easily or if they are not able to follow the plot of the film, the 2 1/2 hour run time will be too much for them.
I think that a 12yr. old should be able to handle this movie. I don't think anyone 10 or under should see it.



It is dark, and a lot of things explode. But there is no blood, and the shocking parts are not gory. What do you think of the New Batman Movie?

I think at 12 he should be ok. But, it depends on how mature he is and what kind of movies he has seen. It's not really that it's so violent, it's just dark in the idea of what is going on in the movie. My boyfriend's 7 yr old brother wanted to see it with us, and we had to tell him no.What do you think of the New Batman Movie?

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. I"m a huge Batman fan from way back. It is very dark though....none of that Adam West (Bang, Pop, Zoom) crap here. The story is very well developed and Heath Ledger was superb as the Joker. He's got the laugh down perfectly.



As for your brother, well that would depend on how mature do you think he is. Can he handle movies like Resident Evil, The Mummy, The Grudge, etc? If so, it's ok.

its rated 12 i'm 13 and i loved every second of it
Its not really dark, just some of the things that the joker does are a little creepy. But honestly I loved the movie! I actually think that the joker is funny, not scary! He actually is supposed to be funny and creepy and I think that he does both. 12 is not to young, thats perfectly fine.
