Do you think it is wrong to continue with the new batman movie after Heath Ledgers death?

In a blog I read recently I found out that some people thought that it was fine that they showed the film after his death I do not approve. I do intend to see the movie to see his last performance. I also found out that he may not be nominated for anything other that his performance in Brokeback Mountain I think to be remeber for a movie like this is somwhat retarded. Let me know what you think.Do you think it is wrong to continue with the new batman movie after Heath Ledgers death?
Heath Ledger's death should in no way effect the marketing or distribution of his last completed performance. If you tried to establish a precedence that no film could be shown in which all of the actors were no longer alive, you could systematically wipe out all film history.

I also don't understand why it is wrong for other people to watch "The Dark Knight" but it is fine for you to do so.

I think your elevator doesn't quite go all the way to the top.
i think they should continue no questions asked

heath ledger made the movie so he oviously wantd to be apart of it and have it in theatres so that should be more of a reason to move forward with the movie.

as for him being nominated for brokeback mountain, i have never seen it and never plan to c it. i never wanna c a gay cowboy movie (its just so wrong)

by the way ... i never saw the movie but i bet i no how he broke his back in the movie ;)

^^^^^

omg that is so wrong but i just thought of it and it made me laugh (sorry)Do you think it is wrong to continue with the new batman movie after Heath Ledgers death?
Well he was very devoted to the role so I think he would be disappointed that nobody was able to see the hard work he put into it. I want to see the movie because 1. I like Batman and 2. his joker is supposed to be so amazing. Although I understand what you mean. I have and never will watch the movie Queen of the Damned because it was the singer Aaliyah's last performance and I don't what to remember her as some evil vampire queen. May sound immature to sound people but that's my mindset on that.
I think you need to work on how you talk yourself before you judge what is "somewhat retarded".

You said for yourself that you will see the movie because you want to see his last performance, and Hollywood agrees with you. And they certainly aren't going to stop a multi-million dollar production because someone died. It has simply brought more attention to the movie, and the more hype there is the more money there is to be made. This is pretty simple stuff.Do you think it is wrong to continue with the new batman movie after Heath Ledgers death?
of course its OK....the franchise will continue. the thing is that since his performance was so great that the smart thing to do is to choose another villain instead of the Joker.

Remember a Batman movie is about Batman not the Joker...and even with this in mind there have been tons of Batmans...lol
This was his job. He put a lot of work and energy in that film and it would be disrespectful to not showcase his last movie! I would be very offended if something I had worked on for a year was thrown away after my death...not that I would ever know but you know what I mean
Hollywood doesn't care what you think, luckily. Although I never met Heath, I can assume that since "The Dark Knight" is supposed to be a big hit, that it is something he would want to be remembered by. It's not like some porno has surfaced with him or anything.
yes it is.

This how the original plot line was made out, read this and you will see why! http://www.lemonshell.com/comics/batmand鈥?/a>
No. Do you know how much money would have been lost if they didn't release the movie? We're talking millions and millions of dollars that the studios invested into this film. They probably didn't even think twice about not releasing it.
I'll always remember Heath as the gorgeous teen singing "Can't Take My Eyes off Of You" to Julia Stiles in "10 Things I hate About You" %26amp; him dancing around the football stadium bleachers declaring his love for "Kat". Brokeback Mountain was overrated btw!
The new Batman is just awesome.. and I really thinks it's Ledgers finest..

Too bad he won't be there when they'll nominate him for an Oscar :(
He worked hard on this role, and it's supposed to be one of his best. It's his swan song, it should be shared with everyone.
It did help to sell the film to the public, but at the end of the day the show must go on.every actor knows this
its about the movie not him. they are showing it because its a good mvie, not because heath is dead
he is bringing a new twist on a character over 40 years old, and will have it be his own. its not retarded if you think of it like this, Christopher Reeves did MANY good movies but he is known for Superman, its about being this ICON, and Ledger will be and immortal as the greatest version of this ICONIC character, plus if he wins an oscar for this role it will Validate Nolan who is an underrated director who brought people back to this character no one cared about since 1989. Brandon Lee Died in 1994, his last movie is The Crow, which he died filming, It is my all time favorite movie, it would have been DISHONORABLE to Brandon not to show people his work.
