he passed away but he was also filming another movie before he died its called The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, he didnt get to finish it though, but the movie's still coming out with him in it, they've chosesn two other actors to portay him, atleast his character....its actually a pretty good mvie and idea you should look it up.
Heath Ledger (the guy that played the joker) died Jan. 22nd of an accident drug overdose.

but the next movie that he starred in before his untimely death is The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. its coming out in 2009

He's dead. But there is one more film that he'll be making an appearance in, though I don't know how much since he died during production. Its called The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.
