Johnny Depp replacing Heath Ledger as the Joker in new Batman movie?

I've heard rumors that Johnny Depp is replacing Heath Ledger as the Joker in the new Batman Movie (The Dark Knight). I've also heard that he may be playing Two-Face...what's the deal?Johnny Depp replacing Heath Ledger as the Joker in new Batman movie?
Johnny Depp is not replacing Heath Leger the movie is already made and coming out soon. Do you know how much money will be wasted to recast a new joker after the movie is finished to remake the movie all over again. And the Two faced part I'm not sure I didn't hear that.
Johnny Depp is said to be replacing Heath Ledger in the last movie Ledger was making called 'The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus' i dont think he will replace him as joker

For one, they won't have decided if and who to replace Heath so soon.



For two, Johnny is starting filming in March for his new film Public Enemies so I doubt he would have the time at such short notice to jump into that role.
Heath Ledger is still the Joker and As for Two Face he is gonna be played by Aaron Eckhart. he starts out as District attorney Harvey Dent and turns to Two Face.Johnny Depp replacing Heath Ledger as the Joker in new Batman movie?

Johnny Depp would never act in a Batman film. Apparently filming for The Dark Night has wrapped up already, so Heath hopefully won't be replaced.
Since "The Dark Knight" is in the can, Johnny Depp wouldn't be replacing Heath Ledger in the current film, but the story is probably that he is lined up to play the Joker in future installments in the current series of Batman films.
It would be a bit late to replace him seeing as the vast majority of the filming is completed and its due for release this summer!

Depp is NOT a good casting choice for a Batman movie anymore than Mike Keaton and George Clooney was being horribly miscast as Batman WAY back when.
Well I hope not, I think they have finished the movie. They will leave Heath in now because of his death, they will make heaps of money from it.

I don't know if it's true, but if it is, that is by far the best replacement they could have picked. Watching the news while they were showing pictures of Heath, I couldn't help but notice for the first time how much he resembles Johnny Depp. Besides, we've all seen Johnny's amazing ability to make made-up men look even more appealing than any traditional hollywood heartthrob.
I just saw a preview for the new Batman movie and it is Heath Ledger.
