Should I go see the new Batman movie in IMAX?

I've been given the opportunity to see the new Batman movie in IMAX sometime next week. I'm 13 and I can tolerate scary stuff (I saw Disturbia and Prom Night). I want to see it but I want to know if I'll enjoy it or be scared to death by it. Should I go?Should I go see the new Batman movie in IMAX?
Im 13 and I saw it. If you can handle Prom Night, you can handle The Dark Knight. :D Not to mention that this is the best.movie. EVER! The worst things in the movie are a few graphic close ups of The Joker, and another guy...(i dont want to wreck the movie for you). There is a lot of shooting but we never see blood. And there a few points were the Joker holds a knife to peoples faces,necks, mouths, etc. There are also a few very intense fighting scenes and some startling moments when the whole theater squirms a little. But it's really not as scary as people are saying. Its an AMAZING movie and you should definetly go see it!

This movie really isn't that scary at all it is simply intense. Its a great movie and i strongly suggest you see it.

Ok. The Dark Night is not a horror film. It isn't scripted or built like a horror film. They will not go out of their way to scare you. There are some spooky scenes, and a couple surprises; not to mention Heath Ledger gives a chilling performance as the Joker, but nothing is scary. It is once of the best movies I have seen in a very long time, and if you haven't seen it by now, you are truly missing out.





As for the IMAX, from what I heard, it is awful. Only part of the movie was shot with IMAX cameras, so sometimes the visual quality is bad. From what I heard, the IMAX "experience" was a terrible one. Better off catching it at your local theatre.

I'm going to see it in IMAX soon, seeing it for the second time, and my friends have seen it in IMAX and they said it was incredible! You won't have any problem with it, it's not that scary, just amazing!
